Stone Temple Pilots “Shangri-LA DEE DA” LP (Yellow Vinyl, Orange Splatter)

Shangri-LA-DEE-DA shows off Stone Temple Pilots ability to synthesize and celebrate a vast array of musical influences into a wholly original and genre bending album. The 5th studio record from the classic STP lineup, originally released in 2001, was recorded in a Malibu Beach House and originally slated to be a double album. It was then re-imagined as a 1-LP and features 13 tracks that bring listeners on a genre-defiant anthology of tales of Hollywood excess and more mundane moments of awe in life including new fatherhood.
